EU-Australia pork war looms

EU - Canberra has warned Brussels that it could face the international trade courts over subsidies introduced on pork in January. The EU brought in export support for pigmeat earlier in the year to stop the rot in a sector under pressure from sliding prices, but Australia believes these short-term subsidies have distorted world markets.
