FMD infests livestock
VIETNAM - Around 1,200 buffalos, cows and pigs have been infected with foot and mouth disease in Vietnam's central province of Quang Nam, state media said Sunday. As a result Quang Nam authorities have imposed a ban on the trade, transport and slaughter of buffalos, cows and pigs in the province in order to prevent the spread of the highly contagious disease.
