Pig income boost from feed
UK - Pig producers could save between 38 and 312/t in compound feed costs following a recent sharp fall in grain prices. London wheat futures dropped by over 310/t in the two weeks to Fri, Feb 13. Pig prices have also staged a welcome rally, with spot quotes up by 2-4p/kg for the week commencing Feb 16.
