Pig shortage boosts prices

UK - Pig prices improved last week (w/e March 12), mainly due to the continuing shortage of pigs rather than any significant improvements in retail demand. The UK Adjusted Euro-Spec Average (AESA) continues to under-perform the market and only rose by 1.19p/kg, to 102.7p/kg.
