Pig values remain firm
UK - Pig prices remained firm last week (w/e Feb 27) with quotes for slaughter pigs generally unchanged. A regional spread is opening up between the north and the east, with one or two northern buyers prepared to pay 1-2p/kg more as supplies dwindle.
