Pig Breeder Warns Of Costs Roadblock
NORTHERN IRELAND - One of Northern Ireland's leading pig producers is seeking a derogation in the current European Union animal transport regulations where the transport of pedigree stock is concerned. The rules now being enforced stipulate a maximum eight hour travel period, followed by a full day's rest.
