Focus (Farm Output Coming Under Scrutiny) will use basic weekly performance data from existing farm records.
By providing a concise assessment of current key performance indicators and forecast output, its aim will be to help producers, vets, feed companies and business advisers provide better advice and encourage more effective forward planning.
The new scheme is being introduced by Garth Partnership, a Humberside-based pig veterinary practice, and Pork Chain Solutions, an alliance of independent pig consultants, in collaboration with Devenish Nutrition.
