US - Properly managed vaccines and antibiotics are essential for managing the toughest diseases of swine. But let's face it, sometimes the payback on specific products or programs can be difficult to measure.

Without a strikingly obvious visual response in the barn or on paper, it can be tough to make informed decisions about the economics of various products and health management programs.

Now there’s a free and easy solution: CalcuHealth for Swine.

CalcuHealth for Swine is a unique computer-modeling tool developed by Technical Service veterinarians at Schering-Plough Animal Health.

This exclusive technology allows vets and producers to forecast ROI and breakevens of health programs, using their own numbers, costs, antibiotics, vaccines, protocols and even unique aspects of their management programs - with no bias toward any products or herd-health regimen.

You can also change the numbers as you go along to assess various "what if" scenarios. What if I use Product A instead of Product B? Or what happens if hog prices rise or fall to a certain level?

Schering-Plough Animal Health’s Doug Hutchinson, DVM, will be making several 20-minute presentations on this at the Great Performance Theatre, a special presentation area at Schering-Plough Animal Health’s booth at World Pork Expo (Varied Industries Building, No. 356). You can also use one of three laptops at the booth to play with the program. Please see the panel on the right for the schedule.
