Economist: Higher pork production, prices driven by 'remarkable exports'

US - "Why?" That's the question Purdue Extension economist Chris Hurt is asking in light of recent higher pork production and higher hog prices. Pork production is up more than 4% in 2004, yet hog prices are up 28%.
