Export refunds go up in response to EU pig price rise
UK - A continuous rise in EU carcases prices means processors are facing significantly increased raw material costs and their competitiveness on world markets is being compromised.

NPA is active on members' behalf in Brussels & Whitehall, and with processors, supermarkets & caterers – fighting for the growth and pros-perity of the UK pig industry. |
As a result, export refunds on processed meat products were increased five percent yesterday. The increase was decided by the EC pigmeat management committee at its meeting on June 22.
