Malta meat production down this year
MALTA - During the first quarter of 2004, the total livestock meat production at slaughterhouses amounted to 4,837 tonnes, a decrease of 282 tonnes (-5.5%), from 5,119 tonnes in the same quarter of 2003, the National Statistics Office reports.
