Plan includes premise ID system
CHICAGO - One aspect of the U.S. Animal Identification Plan is to develop a premise identification system that is uniform across the country so that it will facilitate access and utilization of information. “For a system to be effective, it must address issues for producers of all species with all different kinds of operations,“ stated Bob Hillman executive director of the Texas Animal Health Commission, who spoke during last week’s ID Info Expo 2004.
