Farmer accused of neglecting his pigs
MINNESOTA - A Todd County man was charged with animal neglect after authorities discovered at least 50 dead pigs and piglets on his farm, and dozens of other pigs that were malnourished. Peter Allen Holmquist, 21, was charged Thursday with neglect of animals and failure to provide nourishment and shelter. The maximum sentence he could face for each charge is 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
