Pork processors notice hog hauling improvements thanks to checkoff program
US - Enrollment in the pork checkoff-funded Trucker Quality Assurance (TQA) program has continued to climb and has led to improvements in hauling quality, according to the National Hog Farmer. TQA was designed to ensure the safe transport of hogs to slaughter, and the Agriculture Department's Food Safety and Inspection Service says it is working.
