Boar sells for record $98,000
IOWA - An Iowa hog set a new sale high at the National Barrow Show. Cain Farms of Chariton, Iowa, purchased the champion Hampshire boar for $98,000, a new record for the 58-year-old barrow show. Eric Polich of Woodward, Iowa, raised the boar.
