Hog Producers And Senators Question Mandatory Price Report Credibility
US - Many of the nation's hog producers have voiced concerns about certain aspects of the USDA's Livestock Mandatory Reporting Regulations, or LMPR, and have been joined by U.S. Sens. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who together sent a letter dated Aug. 12 to David Walker, Comptroller General of the U.S., voicing their concerns and requesting an investigation by the General Accounting Office.
