Hypor Welcomes General Manager for the Americas
US - Hypor announced a new General Manager, Hypor America today. Gerjan Van Alst is transferring from Hypor in Holland to take over the responsibilities of Raf Beeren, who is returning to Holland as Hypor's Project Manager. Gerjan brings a wealth of experience to his new role. From 1992 - 1998 he worked at Fomeva B.V., a pig genetics company doing business in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal. He started as a technical advisor and sales rep, and soon took on A.I. management. He managed operations in Portugal, and after helping with the takeover by Topigs he left the company to join Hypor BV, the pig genetics company of Nutreco. He is excited at the challenges presented by his new position, which will add a new dimension to an already multi-faceted career.
While with Hypor in the Netherlands, Gerjan worked as product manager of Hypor worldwide. He was involved in the integration of the Bovar and Parvak organizations into Hypor. Gerjan's role expanded to include management of Parvak. Next, he stepped up to become the manager of Hypor business in the Netherlands, Germany, Japan and the Philippines. Dave Libertini, President (more) and the rest of the senior management team are extremely pleased to have Gerjan coming to North America.
