Long-ailing hog farmers finally see steady profits

US - After years of roller-coaster profits, Pennsylvania hog farmers are enjoying decent pork prices and high demand for the meat. "I've been raising hogs for 50 years," James T. Parlett of Airville said during hog judging at the Keystone International Livestock Exposition, which closed Oct. 4, in the state Farm Show Complex.
