More on ACMC The Bangkok operation will form the hub of ACMC’s expansion into South East Asia as the company establishes genetic nucleus breeding centres in Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.

ACMC Executive Chairman Stephen Curtis brokered the deal during a recent trip to the region. He said, “We have formalised our presence in SE Asia and are looking for suitable partners and multipliers for our AC1 parent gilts and Vantage Terminal Sire Line boars. It is our intention to establish a marketing team in each country under Dr Promano to take the expansion forward.“

Foundation stock will go out to Thailand from the UK genetic nucleus unit shortly, with the Volante (Large White) Dam Line, the super-prolific Meidam dam line and the Vantage Terminal Sire Line boar the key breeds for ACMC (Asia) Co’s future.
