Good News On Pig Herd Slaughterings
UK - If the slowly improving productivity of the national herd continues, there will be a three per cent increase in clean pig slaughterings next year. This means United Kingdom producers will sell well more than threequarters of a million more slaughter pigs - 9,220,000 pigs, compared to a forecast 8,947,000 this year.
