Shaky start to the new fallen stock scheme
UK - Pig farmers are warning the National Fallen Stock scheme is facing a shaky start, because ministers have not made it attractive enough to private operators. With less than three weeks to go before the scheme comes in, the National Pig Association says the wranglings over its creation and running have inspired anything but confidence in it.
