Australian campaign to stop intensive pig farming

AUSTRALIA - TV personality Suzie Wilks went nose to snout yesterday to help raise awareness of the plight of pigs. The declared animal lover wants to stop intensive pig farming as part of the Savebabe campaign. "I was deeply disturbed to learn of the conditions that the vast majority of pigs endure in Australia," she said. Wilks said most of the country's 330,000 breeding pigs are kept in small indoor stalls and are unable to exercise or even turn around.
