Supreme Court examines government speech argument in checkoff case
US - Is advertising supported by commodity checkoffs government speech? That was the main question addressed Wednesday in testimony before the Supreme Court in Washington, DC in a controversial case that will determine whether such research and promotion programs are constitutional. The case, Veneman v.
