AUSTRALIA - The US pork industry is threatening to take action against Australia if it isn't granted full market access for pig meat imports. As Matt Kaye reports, an industry official is predicting continuing friction between the two countries in the New Year, despite the start of the new free trade deal on January first. “National Pork Producers Council trade chief Nick Giordano says the US industry - awaiting a court ruling in Australia on processed product - won't rest until it gets full market access to Australia.“
