DENMARK - Five large projects have received grants of altogether DKK 12.4 mio. euro from the High Technology Fund which consequently will distribute DKK 27.6 mio. euro in research support this year.

The High Technology Fund describes the five projects, which among other things are handling research within bio fuel and pigs’ heriditament, as so-called high technology platforms.

The projects which are carried out as collaborations between companies and universities are larger and broader than the 13 small research projects which the High Technology Fund supported with DKK 14 million last September.

Altogether the High Technology Fund has started research projects for approximately DKK 800 million since its establishment last year to the great pleasure of its chairman the Danfoss CEO Jørgen Mads Clausen.
