Focus-Test confirms excellent performance DLG test certificate for Big Dutchman guide vane
GERMANY - The higher, the better: air and odour emissions from livestock buildings have to be led away from the buildings as far as possible so that they spread before they start to bother anybody.
Big Dutchman in Vechta-Calveslage offers an effective tool to fulfil these requirements without making it necessary to install unsightly and expensive extra chimneys: a guide vane for pig and poultry houses. An independent test by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) now confirms the excellent performance results of this product.

The recently published official test report states that the guide vane renders the installation of higher chimneys in most cases as unnecessary as the installation of so-called wide-angle nozzles, which are used to achieve the same effect but consume additional energy. As written in the assessment: "The jet centre is much better focused and much more stable." This leads to an "increase of the plume height". Plain-talking that means: the emission impact on the environment is significantly reduced.
