JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will work closely with the expatriate General Director and European Vet Coordinator. The position will be based in Belgorod with frequent travel to other areas of Russia.

Main RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assist the General Director with all vet aspects. Supervise the health status of contracted multiplier farms; including bio-security, vaccination programs and herd monitoring. Maintain relationships with vet authorities and be responsible for management of veterinary issues associated with import of breeding stock into Russia. Provide advise to all customers on acclimatization that are in line with company procedures and Russian legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

• Educated to university level – Vet University
• Previous work experience in production and consultancy,
• Agricultural experience, especially pig knowledge

Skills:

• Native Russian speaker
• Fluent in English
• Other languages are an advantage
• Positive attitude,
• Ability to work in a team,
• A desire to learn quickly and take responsibility within the company,
• Ambition to progress to a Senior Management position as the business develops
• Flexibility and ability to travel both within Russia and occasionally overseas as necessary.
• Excellent communication and managerial skills to be able to handle multiple projects within specific time frames while maintaining open lines of communication with senior management.
• Excellent time management skills are required to meet deadline
