Illicit pork seized in Tsuen Wan

HONG KONG - Food & Environmental Hygiene Department officers have seized 135kg of suspected illicit pork from a Tsuen Wan fresh provision shop. Two men are being questioned.

The pork was seized this morning from the ground floor shop at 111 Chuen Lung Street.

Possessing illicit meat for sale warrants a $50,000 fine and six months in jail.
Anyone with suspicions about meat being sold from a retail outlet are asked to inform the authorities
