Russian inspectors will also completed checks on 29 poultry slaughtering and processing and 20 frozen poultry facilities.

Results will be analysed with the premise of re-opening export markets to Russia for US pork and poultry meat. Supplies of US pork to Russia were stopped becasue of reported cases of trichinellosis in some US pig populations.
