    DJ CME Livestock Review: Live Cattle Surge; Hogs Move Up

    US - Chicago Mercantile Exchange live cattle closed higher Thursday on fund buying, short covering and bear-spreading out of October into rear contracts. That capped spot-October advances but added to December and February's gains. Also, feeder cattle settled higher.
