EU Throws Frankenfoods Back into the Limelight
EU - The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has launched its draft scientific opinion on genetically modified 'Frankenfoods', and has concluded that they are safe to eat. The EFSA is now beginning a public consultation on the implications of animal cloning on food safety, animal health and welfare and the environment.
