New Role - Pig Practitioner

You will ideally have a few years of farm animal experience and wish to further develop a good knowledge of pig medicine but newer graduates will be considered and given appropriate training. Also the opportunity to cover some small animal and farm work is available if required.

At Garth Partnership you will be supporting the work of the consultancy team and developing your expertise leading to provision of primary services and advisory work to a wide range of pig producers on all aspects of production animal medicine.

On farm practical experience will be supported by in house training and a generous CPD package.

The position will be well rewarded with an excellent package of salary, CPD, car, holiday etc and the opportunity to develop pig expertise within a practice dedicated to the improvement and success of the UK Pig industry.

Garth Partnership are based in East Yorkshire, at the heart of the UK pig industry and provide services to producers throughout the UK but principally in the North of England and Scotland. Our affiliated practice in Norfolk, Integra, services East Anglian pig producers.

The Garth Partnership team currently include one RCVS Diplomat and three Certificate holders with six vets dedicated to the pig industry. The practice is supported by our affiliated laboratory, Salus QP, providing prompt diagnostics.
