BD's Bangkok centre now covers two floors as and incorporates a larger warehouse. The move has increased spatial capacity, with floor space increasing to 1,800 m2. The new office also includes improved functionally and a modern design which it says offers a much more comfortable working environment for the company's 36 employees.

The decision to move is in direct response to the increasing demand for the company's livestock housing equipment.

The new office belongs to the Malaysia-based Big Dutchman daughter company, BD Asia which has been distributing the company's products in Thailand since 2002. In addition, last year the Big Dutchman-branch in Bangkok also assumed responsibility for the sale of Big Dutchman's pig housing equipment throughout Asia-Pacific, and the Regional Headquarters for Pig Sales and Service was added to the Bangkok office.

Commenting on the move Brian McCawley, General Manager of Big Dutchman Agriculture, Thailand said that both business divisions have seen a growing demand for its products.

"To be able to continue to meet the market requirements as well as to continue providing expert services to our clients, the move had become necessary," he said.

Bangkok-based Big Dutchman Agriculture (Thailand) Ltd. belongs to the Big Dutchman Group, the worldwide market leader for modern pig and poultry housing equipment. The German company has headquarters in Vechta and is active in more than 100 countries.
