"The old Web page was hard to find and not as user-friendly as we thought it could be," said Bob Goodband, K-State Research and Extension swine specialist.

The site has a new URL - http://www.KSUswine.org - that should be easier to remember and access, Goodband said.

Some of the site changes include the addition of several spreadsheets. They allow producers to evaluate the economics of different feed ingredients, as well as to determine the optimal weight for marketing pigs.

Other features include proper feeder adjustment cards, premix recommendations, and K- State´s updated "Swine Nutrition Guide."

"The reports in our most recent annual Swine Day publication have also been categorized, so data will be easier to find," Goodband said.
