Morten Petersen

Morten Petersen has held a position as Purchase Director in Dansk Supermarked since 2003, and his experience counts several positions in the Food Industry - Jensen Food Group, Kelsen A/S, Arla Foods and Dandy among others.

  • It is not an easy task – replacing Jens Haven Christiansen. But we believe, that in Morten Petersen we have found the person who is capable of managing the challenging job that lies within the global pork-market right now, says CEO of Danish Crown Kjeld Johannesen.

Earlier this year Jens Haven Christiansen informed the Board of Directors at Danish Crown, that he wishes to step down, when a suitable replacement is found. That will happen in the months to come after Morten Petersen joins the company.

  • I have been working with different aspects of the Food Industry and strong brands for years, and Danish Crown seems to be a natural next step for me. I see this as an opportunity to be able to work with a very interesting company, says Morten Petersen, who will spend the first months getting to know Danish Crown from the inside.

Morten Petersen is 46 years; he is married with two children and lives in Odder.
