Queensland to Hold Pan Pacific Pork Expo

QUEENSLAND - Pacific pork industry representatives will meet on Queensland's Gold Coast for the fifth Pan Pacific Pork Expo.

The conference comes at a time when food costs are crippling and challenging the industry, and 70 per cent of pork used by processors in Australia is imported, reports ABC.

A UK expert will talk about food safety and reducing feed costs, and there's also a debate on the merits of cloning.
