IOWA — Law enforcement officers are investigating an unusual heist in Iowa - a truck load of 120 market hogs.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office has reported that the pigs have been stolen from a hog confinement operation in Silver Lake Township sometime between May 29 and July 10, although the incident only was reported this week.

Chief Deputy Todd Suhr said his agency was investigating the incident but has "no hot leads right now." The missing hogs are valued at $19,000.

There is a reward of up to $2,000 for any information that leads to the case being solved.
