Candidates must be willing to reside in the Ames, Iowa area, and be willing to travel to locations in Iowa, Colorado, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provision of strategic vision and planning for health related objectives.
• Communication and coordination with other support veterinarians working within the system.
• Provision of diagnostic and interpretive expertise for health challenges.
• Working within the live production team as a teammate, and to be a contributor to improving all phases of production.
• Maintenance of professional relationships with key resources to leverage new knowledge in the production system.
• Evaluation of new products, strategies, and health interventions to develop system processes and protocols.
