WISCONSIN - Pork producers who need to become certified or re-certified in the Pork Quality Assurance Plus program will have two group sessions to participate in during August.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is offering two options as follows:
  1. August 18 at Pioneer Farm. The session will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will conclude at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided by the Wisconsin Pork Association.
Cost for this session will be $10 per producer.
  2. August 25 at the Dodge County Extension Office in Juneau.
That program will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The Wisconsin Pork Producers Association highlights that since it's introduction in 1989, the Pork Quality Assurance has become the pork industry's flagship educational program, provides producers with information about on-farm Good Production Practices for the promotion of pork safety and pig well-being.
