“Innovation of the year 2009”: compact liquid feeding system MixPump

MixPump is ideally suited both for piglets and the final finishing period and impressed the jurors not only in regard to its level of innovativeness but also in regard to the two important criteria of relevancy to practice and practical suitability. The award was presented at a special ceremony that was held by the publishing company during the show in Hanover.

The advantages of the system innovation from Big Dutchman are obvious: MixPump works without mix tank, agitator and weighing system and doses out feed continuously and fully automatically. This is possible thanks to a two-stage proportioning pump which mixes liquid and dry components together to a homogenous gruel which is directly transported to the pigs.

The feeding process is very rapid which saves labour and energy. MixPump works without a computer and consists of only few components – result: the liquid feeding system is easy to use and both investment and maintenance costs are reduced. Thanks to its compact design, MixPump is ideally suited for small service rooms. Patent pending.
