US - The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) yesterday (30 December 2008) signed the protocol to the US-Russia Agreement on Trade in Certain Types of Poultry, Beef, and Pork.

The protocol adjusts the in-quota quantity and out-of-quota tariff for US pork and poultry exports to the Russian Federation.

The Russian Federation is the number one export market for US poultry meat and the fourth largest market for US pork. US exports of poultry and pork to the Russian Federation reached $720 million and $191 million, respectively, in 2007.
