Pork Production Down Compared to a Year Ago

US - Commercial red meat production for the United States reached 3.92 billion pounds in January, down six per cent from the 4.17 billion pounds produced in January 2009, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) in their monthly Livestock Slaughter report.
