Haemophilus parasuis (Hps, also called Glässers Disease) is very common on pig farms worldwide.

Since early 2010, GD says it can detect antibodies against Hps with an ELISA. This ELISA not only identifies antibodies against serotype 5 but also against serotypes 4, 7 and 13 and the vaccine strain of Intervet (Porcillis Glässer®, Hps serotype 5).

The test can be used to examine the dynamics of Hps on farms and for monitoring.
