Korea Finds H1N1 Flu on Two Farms

SOUTH KOREA - Pigs on two neighbouring farms have tested positive for H1N1 influenza.

The veterinary authority sent an Immediate Notification dated 19 April to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

The report says that during monitoring tests for influenza A H1N1 on pig farms across the country, two farms were found to be positive. The farm are in Icheon-city in Kyonggi-Do province. On 12 April, 18 pigs on each farm tested positive for the virus.
