New Guidelines on Ammonia Assessment
UK - The Environment Agency has published an updated briefing note on how it assesses ammonia emissions from IPPC pig and poultry farms during the pre-screening process.
The updated briefing note covers the screening tool, the critical levels for ammonia in air, the different stances taken by the Agency on protecting wildlife sites, additional modelling guidance and the current state of play on site surveys being undertaken by Natural England.
