Russia Reports One New ASF Outbreak

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported a new outbreak of African swine fever (ASF).

The World Organsation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report No. 27 yesterday, 20 May.

The reports states that the oubreak took place in Rostovskaya on 16 May. 43 animals were found affected and 1500 were found susceptible to the disease.

The cause of the outbreak is still inconclusive and under investigation.
