Pork Production Down from Previous Year
US - Commercial red meat production for the United States totalled 3.96 billion pounds in July, down four per cent from the 4.12 billion pounds produced in July 2009, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), in their Livestock Slaughter report for August 2010.
