Three More Outbreaks of ASF in Volgograd Region

RUSSIA - Three more outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) have been reported.

The veterinary authority has sent Follow Up Report No. 35 dated 2 August to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

All three outbreaks started between 25 and 28 July, and are in Volgograd Oblast. In total, 17 pigs became ill, all of which were destroyed and the remaining 485 animals were destroyed.
