Russia Reports Two New ASF Outbreaks

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported two new outbreaks of African swine fever.

The World Organisation for Animal Health received follow-up report no. 46 on Monday, 27 December.

According to the report, a total of 437 animals were found susceptible, out of which 82 cases were reported. While 10 died as a result of the outbreak, four animals were destroyed.

The source of the outbreak is still under investigation.
