After intensive work by DSM scientists and regulatory experts, and a positive safety assessment by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), approval has been granted according to Commission Regulation (EU) No 999/2010. As of 25 November 2010, the date of legal enforcement of the regulation approving RONOZYME® NP can now be sold for use in sow feed in the European Union. RONOZYME® NP is already registered for poultry, fattening pigs and piglet applications.

RONOZYME® NP is the new phytase product within the RONOZYME® feed enzyme portfolio. The new product provides an even greater release of phytate phosphorus compared to previous phytases, allowing customers to capture all the associated commercial and technical benefits.
